What a bad alarm clock. It rang 1 hour to early. This alarm clock... a piece of plastic with a shiny metalic look, though quite young, feels as though its been through tough times. This i am refering to is my 3120 Nokia scam. Buying it at a sweet price of $367, only to realise its actually a replicated 3100 with a nice looking cover. Recieved an sms from yongthieng asking me whether i was going for band fest. Yulp i am going...sadly not as a performer -_-. Go acjcband! With Ben pooi clarinet boy, clarinet should be pro haha :P.
A few days ago, I finally met up with my mei mei and some juniors. It was a bit awkard at first, cause i was 1 batch of students older than all of them, plus they were in school uniform, while me on the other hand, casual wear. At first i thought it would be that way the whole day, but thankfully, the feeling only lasted for say, the entire mrt trip down to little india. Met 2 new people, Felicia and Sook ching. Not entirely sure if i spelt the name correctly. Sook ching...shes the type of noisy girl. Funny funny funny. Felicia is more a soft spoken one, and she hates spice just like me. Down with chilli! Ok not really... A group of 7 of us,all younger than me(excluding me that is...) went to Muthu's curry..some super cool indian restaurant. I must say, i'm quite raciest. I never thought an indian restaurant could be that grand. Though the food wasn't exactly my type of taste, i'll probably give it a 7.5/10 where the 0/2.5 goes to food. The service was fast. really really fast. Even the toilets were super nice. Automatic soap dispensers and stuff. Oh, and indians have weird food appetizers. Seriously! they eat funny tasting herbs that taste like Sarsi. Its true to say sarsi is exactly a herb, but the soft drink is a drink! not a hard piece of herb. It tasted really really bad. The after taste was worst. Never the less, Muthu's curry was indeed a posh restaurant. After that, we explored Little india. I've only been to little india once or less, not even sure myself. Clara wanted to buy a pair of indian ear rings so badly, we ended up finding the shop. After a brief stroll and much controversy, we marched down to Bugis where I got the most expensive haircut in my life. The hairdresser/barber/hairstylist was powerful. She used 2 pairs of scissors at 1 insane... it was almost as if she was on a killing spree...aiming at my hair. I lost 3/4 in a mere 5 minutes. The cut wasn't too bad, though its way to short for a so called "messy" feel. After a bit of fooling around and mac-flurry, me clara and andre headed in the west direction.
Upon reaching home, i rampaged through my war-torn room in search for some stuff, packed my bags for band chalet with such haste that i exactly forgot to switch off the lights and fan. Soon was i to realise, that because of this plus an unpacked room, my pocket money was going to be on hold for 2 straight weeks. Thankfully i had some money due to exam results left. Also, i realised Nanda was gonna be in 1G1 nxt semester. Welcome welcome welcome!
As if now, i just got back from chalet.I must say it was quite fun, apart from my incapability to run around freely due to a startling pain on my middle leg. Never the less, i quite enjoyed myself. Its a throughly expensive place to stay for 3 days. I easily spent over 50 bucks. I probably slept for about 1/2 an hour in the first 2 days and now that i'm home, zzzzzzzzz like mad yeah yeah! tired tired tired! Well good night folks, Nick will be back for more retarted chats with mr lunt!
